Under the auspices of the foundation, Al Umar Girls College, Ismail Nagar, and Al Umar School for Girls, Nishtar Colony, Mian Gharib, are providing quality education, character building and vocational training to deserving and underprivileged girls.

The institutions aim to empower girls through academic education, moral training and practical skills that can help them become confident, capable and self-reliant. Along with their regular education, students are offered a range of short courses. Alongside traditional trades such as handicrafts, beautician and beauty-care training and cooking, the institutions teach the skills the present era demands — computer education, graphic design, digital marketing and social media management, video editing and content creation, e-commerce and virtual assistance, freelancing for online marketplaces, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
These programmes are designed to equip students with practical and professional skills that can create opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship and home-based income generation. Special emphasis is also placed on character development, confidence building, creativity, discipline and social responsibility.

Through these initiatives the foundation is working to remove barriers to education and skills development and to create better opportunities for deserving girls, enabling them to build a brighter future for themselves, their families and their communities.
